West Coast Regional Sales Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional who is looking to expand in the field of Information Technology as well as contribute to further developing sales and marketing initiatives. This position will be responsible for developing and expanding business in the states of Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, and Texas. This will include working closely with the entire organization associated with Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Estimating and Accounting.
Essential Job Duties:
- Develop business strategies to increase current customer base by initiating contact with prospective customers.
- Coordinating and integrating sales efforts with internal operations in all disciplines to secure orders at target margins.
- Establish appropriate networking relationships to enhance contact management and generate new business.
- Interface with business segment managers and inside sales team to ensure timely response to customer requests.
- Meet or exceed sales objectives and provide input in budgets, forecasts and reports.
- Participation in industry trade shows and conferences.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
Skills, Education And Experience:
- BS degree in Computer Science or a related field and/or equivalent combination of directly related experience and education.
- Minimum five years of IT sales and marketing experience in a business-to-business environment.
- Demonstration of strong written and verbal communication skills and across diverse cultures.
- High degree of organization, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and prospects.
- Ability to analyze sales data and develop recommendations and solutions.
Position:
Marketing Assistant
Job Summary:
Under supervision from the Director of Communications, is responsible for the implementation and administration of various marketing programs.
Essential Job Duties:
- Work with sales team to develop client-oriented interpretations and graphics of market trends.
- Work with marketing team to develop new ideas for presenting market research data to clients.
- Assist in the gathering of statistics and data from outside sources.
- Design and produces in-house flyers, brochures and marketing materials.
- Assist with the production of quarterly and annual market and sub-market graphs from existing data.
- Assist in the production of the quarterly newsletter.
- Assist with developing appropriate packaging of presentation pieces.
- Produce other sales aids as needed.
Other Job Functions:
- Assist with forms, supplies, procedures; provide company information and resources upon request.
- administrative duties such as typing, preparation of expense reports, answering phones, copying, faxing and report preparation.
Skills, Education And Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent marketing experience.
- Minimum 3 years-previous work experience in the marketing field.
- Experience working with multiple people.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and integrate project segments.
- Strong graphic, writing and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, self-starter, flexible, professional demeanor and appearance.
